Ink Roll Description

Ink rollers are the rubber rollers in all ink supply systems. Ink rollers should ensure good working stability of ink delivery system, uniformity of ink and continuous ink supply in the printing process. Ink rollers should have good ink-friendliness, elasticity, and solvent resistance, etc. The core of ink rollers should have good rigidity and strength, and have the ability to resist deformation. Printing ink rollers are generally composed of a metal core and a rubber layer. The role of the ink roller is to quantitative printing ink, evenly transported to the printing plate.

Printing ink rollers are divided into two types of heavy rollers and light rollers according to their structure. Heavy rollers, referred to as heavy rollers and pressure rollers, are solid metal rollers machined from high-quality carbon steel. Heavy rollers are used for ink leveling rollers in the ink delivery system. The light roller is composed of two parts: metal roller core and rubber body. The metal roller core is composed of roller neck and roller tube core, of which the roller neck is made of high quality carbon steel and the roller tube core is made of seamless steel pipe. In addition, according to the ink roller material, it is divided into: gelatin ink roller, rubber ink roller, plastic ink roller and synthetic resin ink roller; according to the role of ink roller, it is divided into: ink transfer roller, water transfer roller, ink leveling roller, string water roller, string ink roller and inking roller.
